Beach 7.08

My family and I just got back from spending 4 days at the beach with some family friends of ours, it was a blast! We went down to Galveston, TX at the beginning of the week and spent four fun filled days there.

It did end up raining quite a bit because of all the bad weather from hurricane Dolly, but we still managed to have fun through it all. It was Lawson and Emma's first time to see the ocean, so it was fun to see their reaction to it all, they were pretty impressed!

While we were there we went swimming, fishing, crabbing, walked on the beach during a huge rain storm, rode the ferry across the bay, fried fish, saw dolphins and jelly fish, and enjoyed each others company through it all.

I personally enjoyed seeing the beauty of God's creation in a new and different way while there. Everything was so beautiful and majestic! I loved the crashing waves and beautiful sunsets, and the way my God revealed Himself to me through it all! One morning while I was there I was reading in Psalms and came across this verse, "The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, than the mighty waves of the sea." Psalm 93:4 And to think that this same God who is greater than all the sea, also desires an intimate and personal relationship with me!

Here are some pictures of our time...

"O Lord, how manifold are Your works!
In wisdom you have made them all.
The earth is full of Your possessions-
this great and wide sea,
in which are innumerable teeming things,
living things both small and great."

Psalm 104:24-25

Awesome pictures, hon! Don't give up even your dinky lens (I can say that 'cause I have one) is sometimes frustrating. ;) Love ya!
