For 18 Years. . .

He's been my best friend.

He has been able to make me laugh more than anyone else, usually without even trying.

He has put up with my constant stream of words and ideas. :)

He has been an example to me of someone who is confident in his "manhood" but isn't to cool to be kind and gentle with his brothers and sisters.

He has been a constant friend, I have never doubted for a moment that he wouldn't be there for me if I ever needed him.

He has been the listening ear that has heard anything and everything, from my biggest dreams, to whatever crazy thing happened to me on that particular day.

He has been my "partner in crime" from day one, helping me plan many escapades, one of which involved running away (at age 4).

He has been pretty much my polar opposite. Him, the quiet studious one, the "thinker", and me the loud, outgoing one, the "say-whatever-comes-into-my-head-first one".

Benjamin Wesley Garner

And today, he turned 18, he became a legal adult. It is kind of scary. It seems like just yesterday we were covering ourselves with mud after a big rainstorm in Celina.

I am so glad you are my brother, Benjamin, I have been blessed to have you for these 18 years now. Thanks for being my friend~

May the Lord continue to mold and strengthen you into the man of God you are already becoming.

I love you. . .
