New beginnings...

I really did have high hopes of having my new years "post" ready by tonight and having my blog theme all switched over from the Christmas one, but it isn't going to happen. It is now officially

2009

(that was my very first time typing/writing it, how fun:) and I am tired and ready for bed. My best friend Sarah is coming from California tomorrow to visit me for ten whole days! So today was spent in taking down all the Christmas stuff around the house, and cleaning in preparation for her coming. Hopefully there will be a post coming soon, I have so many things I want to write about. . .it is a little bit overwhelming! I am super excited about this new year to say the least! But for now, I would leave you with these thoughts.

"This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. “ The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “ Therefore I hope in Him!” The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him."
