This week I'm loving . .

My new desk

I have been looking for a desk for my new room on Craigslist for 2 weeks now, and just yesterday I found one, with an accompanying chair. Love it, it is simple, old, wooden, just exactly what I wanted. (You will get a picture later, when I have my room finished and looking the way I want it)


Reconnecting with old friends

Last night we had some old old friends over for dinner spur of the moment, it was so much fun catching up with everyone. The daughter who is my age was my best friend when I was about 11 or 12 years old.

Avocados

I am seriously like an avocado addict. I love them in pretty much any way shape or form. My two favorites are sliced avocados on a grilled chicken salad, and guacamole of course!!! mmmm....so delicious.


Cold showers after a good workout

I have been working out on the elliptical machine every morning and nothing feels better after a good workout, and lots of sweat than jumping in a semi-cold (I don't go for the whole polar bear freeze thing . . .) shower.


Sonic happy hour

I don't know how I would get through the Summer without it. SERIOUSLY. I go there several times a week, and since I am on a soda/pop/coke/carbonated beverage (WHATEVER you call it) fast this month, my favorite pick is their sweet peach tea. And lemme tell ya, it is sweet! (*their strawberry slush is a pretty good second choice*)


Plane tickets to DC

I bought my tickets to DC this week, for my internship with the amazing Kristen Leigh. I am officially counting down the days!!! *15 to be exact*


My new lilac scented candle

I love having candles burning in my room, and I love seasonal candles. My scent for the month (and this also happens to be one of my favorite scents in the whole world) is Lilac....mmm, I light it every night while I am working, or getting ready for bed, and it makes my whole room smell lovely.
