Oswald Chambers is, if not my very favorite writer, at least among the top 5 favorites I have. I love quoting him, he has the most amazing way of condensing the deep truths of scripture and making them so understandable without losing any of their impact.I came across this quote today while reading some of his writings. . .
"Natural ability has nothing to do with service; consequently there is never any thought of, 'Oh, well, I am not fitted for this.' . . . Is He (God) going to help Himself to your life, or are you taken up with your conception of what you are going to do? God is responsible for our lives, and the one great keynote is reckless reliance upon Him." -Oswald Chambers
Learning to live that "reckless reliance" he speaks of...
